The workshop outputs were subsequently developed into the final UDF, adopted by Council in 2019.

The Framework works with complex, fragmented existing subdivision and ownership pattern, to propose a defined, legible public realm system, comprising a transformed main street, central square, and landscaped 'green loop'.

Redevelopment opportunities are established across numerous sites, with 'perimeter block' building typologies defining streets and lanes, and forming a cohesive massing strategy which is optimised for outlook and solar access.
