McP led the preparation of a UDF for Mordialloc Activity Centre and its interface with Aspendale, focussing on optimising the benefits for the community from the planned Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP).

Through two Inquiry by Design Workshops with Council officers and engagement with the LXRP, we established a series of key design moves, which were developed into Framework Plans. These formed the basis for Place Concepts which establish design directions for key locations.
The Framework Plans focus on the public realm/ground plane, creating new public spaces and enhanced connectivity and accessibility, while working within the established urban structure and responding to the planned transport infrastructure changes.
Two Community Consultation periods informed the work as it was developed. We participated in a local 'pop up' engagement activity at Mordialloc Station, and a meeting with local traders.
